LKS carries out projects under The Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation

In June 2015 the Ministry of Urban Development in India launched the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation for 500, 2nd and 3rd tier cities across India. The Mission focuses on improvements in the following areas: water supply; sewer and waste management; storm water drainage to reduce flooding; sustainable mobility solutions (pedestrianization, public transport, parking, etc); enhancing the quality of green spaces and public areas. LKS has been appointed for 2 subsequent years for the development of projects, under the AMRUT Mission for the City of Panaji.

In accordance with the implementation priorities set in the Master Planning proposed for the city in 2014, the LKS team of Civil Engineers and Urban Planners are developing and implementing several projects: rejuvenation of Promenade on Mandovi Riverside, Church Square, main square in the city, Patto pedestrian bridge; Ribandar market and Ribandar fishermen´s jetty; 18 June, Atmaran Borkar and MG Roads; Caranzalem children´s park and Ria International bridge.
The implementation will enhance the entire city which will partially fulfill its dream for a holistic integrated infrastructure.
