Sports Authority of Goa has selected LKS INDIA to design the sport infrastructure required for the 36th National Games in India

The Sports Authority of Goa -SAG- has been commissioned to organize the 36th National Games in India taking place in Goa in November 2016. For this reason, a few months ago they tendered the services of  both the design consultancy for the new sports facilities and the renovation and improvement of the existing facilities.

LKS INDIA will design a sports centre in Navelim, a stadium to practice the local sport Kho-Kho in Poinguinim, Canacona and all the temporary facilities necessary for the correct running of the games.

The project aims to be developed within 4 months. The plot in Navelim has 55,000 m² and the sports centre will host a swimming pool, a covered badminton and ping-pong stadium, a gym as well as exterior volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. The stadium in Canacona, with more than 20,000 m² will host all the auxiliary sports and those related to the Kho-Kho.

LKS INDIA will be in charge of designing all the temporary structures that are  necessary to practice the 32 sports plus ancillary services, including the signage around the grounds.
