LKS joins the Spain-India Council Foundation

As from this July, LKS is patron of the Spain-India Council Foundation.

The Spain-India Council Foundation is a private cultural foundation which has been working to promote relationships of mutual interest between the civil societies of Spain and India, such as financial, trade and business cooperation and activities of a cultural, scientific, civic or educational nature, as well as environmental protection.

The aim is to bring together, in a single civil society platform, the efforts being made across a wide variety of sectors in Spain related to spheres of activities concerning India in order to promote common interests and goals at a time when India has taken its place at as one of the emerging countries of the 21st century with the greatest international impact, and therefore in line with our development strategy for the country.
The first Spain-India Forum, titled  “Ciudades y Redes de Transporte Sostenible para las próximas generaciones (Sustainable Transport for Generations to come)”,  will be held next 3rd-4th of December in Madrid. LKS will participate in this Forum.

The Foundation also promotes initiatives, contacts, and actions considered to be of high priority by its Trustees, who represent a wide range of both public and private activities. The Foundation’s members include prominent representatives of federal, autonomous, and local government, companies such as Banco Santander, Caixabank, BBVA, Chaincorp, Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y de Cooperación, Alianza 4 Universidades, Casa Asia, Casa De La India and Esade. In the infrastructures sector, companies such as Abertis Infraestructuras, Acciona, Antares, Fundación Focus-Abengoa, Fundación Garrigues, Gas Natural, Grupo Isolux Corsán, Indra, Navantia, Obrascón Huarte Laín, Repsol and Técnicas Reunidas are present.
