LKS cooperates in the business plan for the fruit and vegetable sector in Colombia

After a year of dialogue and agreement between producers, businesspeople, institutions, Asohofrucol and the Productive Transformation Programme-PTP of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Business Plan for the fruit and vegetable sector in Colombia was launched, with the cooperation of LKS.  This plan seeks to convert the country into a world-class exporter of fruit and vegetables.

The Business Plan is aimed at responding to the needs of the sector while at the same time converting it into an exporter with a sustainable offer at competitive prices. Towards this end, and in pursuit of the productive transformation of the sector, only 7 products will be promoted (5 fruits and 2 vegetables); products that are in high demand in the international market.  The products are: pawpaw, pineapple, mango, strawberry, avocado, bulb onion and hot pepper.

The presentation was given by the Manager of the Productive Transformation Programme-PTP of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Mr. Camilo Montes, together with the consultants of LKS, Juan Luis Llorens and Iñaki Elicegui.
