MONDRAGON

MONDRAGON Corporation is the result of the cooperative movement initiated in 1956, when the first industrial cooperative was set up in Mondragón (Gipuzkoa) and of the joint effort of all its worker-shareholders.

Its corporate philosophy is in its corporate values: cooperation, participation, social commitment and innovation.

MONDRAGON has obtained numerous prizes and awards, among which we can highlight “Boldness in Business” in the category “Drivers of change” that is organised every year by the Financial Times (FT) and the Indian Corporation Arcelor Mittal (AM).

It is configured in four groups: finance, industry, distribution and knowledge.

  • Finance includes the banking businesses and those with activities linked to social welfare, insurance and leasing.
  • Industry contains twelve divisions aimed at different industrial sectors and services (Fagor, Orona, Ulma, etc.).
  • Distribution combines the commercial distribution and food activity business (Eroski, etc.).
  • Knowledge (MU) + Technology Centres.

LKS is integrated within the Engineering and Business Services Division.
